Typically, we preview and share our thoughts on seasonal offerings and love a good, punny wine! But this is a new blog look and feel, and the first post in a long time, so we are going to share Nan's current favorite!

Chambourcin - a French-American Hybrid Grape
Did you know that was a thing? Chambourcin is a grape, and it produces a deeply aromatic wine!
What makes this particular Chambourcin so special?
This is the Goldilocks of Chambourcins for Nan - Not too tart, not too sweet; deliciously jammy without being fruit overkill. And though many Chambourcins (including this one) are recommended to be served chilled, I think that room temperature is juuuuuustttt riiiiight. The color is rich, but not too deep. I have shared this with sweet wines-only lovers, as well as dry wine officiandos and all have been delighted. And truth be told, I am just as happy to unscrew a bottle and enjoy all by myself without a moment's hesitation! That's right - no wine opener required. Picnic anyone? I'll bring the wine!
